Chhattisgarh RTO(CG): Vehicle Registration, Road Tax, Codes, License & Owner Search
Chhattisgarh, one of the fast-growing states of India, has more than six million registered vehicles. The Government of Chhattisgarh administers this vast framework through more than 30 Chhattisgarh RTO offices operated by the CG Transport Department. The various RTO units in Chhattisgarh handle transport services such as vehicle registration for new vehicles, transfer of RC, collection of road tax, issuance of driving licenses, and grant of permits. They process all transport services mandated by the Motor Vehicles Act of 1988 for both urban and rural districts of the state of CG. To enhance accessibility to the services provided by the state government, the CG RTO has made services available digitally through its official portal – cgtransport.gov.in. Now, citizens can make online applications for all types of registrations, pay taxes, download forms, and check their vehicle or driving license status with ease.
