Visit the RTO Vehicle Information Page website or download the CarInfo app.
Select RC Details under Vehicle Info.

How to Register a Vehicle in Arunachal Pradesh
According to the Motor Vehicles Act, every vehicle must be registered at the nearest Arunachal Pradesh RTO.
Here is how to register your vehicle:
- Go to your local RTO office (AR-01 Itanagar, for example).
- Fill out Form 20 (Application for Registration).
- Submit the necessary documents (see list below).
- Pay the road tax & registration fee.

How to Transfer Vehicle Ownership in Arunachal Pradesh
If you buy/sell any used vehicle, ownership needs to be transferred legally, as follows:
- Visit the relevant RTO office.
- Fill Form 29 & Form 30 (signed by both parties).
- Submit the documents:
- Original RC
- Insurance & PUC
- Buyer's address proof
- PAN/Form 60
- Passport photographs
- Pay the transfer fees.
- Vehicle inspection (if applicable).
- Updated RC will be given in the name of the new owner.
If under loan, NOC from the financer is required.

Driving Licence in Arunachal Pradesh
To obtain a DL:
- Apply for Learner's Licence (LL). After 30 days, you can apply for the Permanent DL atsarathi.parivahan.gov.in.
- You will need to upload the following documents (ID proof, address proof, age proof, LL copy).
- Book the DL test slot at the nearest RTO.
- Attend the driving test with your vehicle.
- Once you pass the driving test, your DL will be sent to you by post.
