Documents Required for Vehicle Registration in RTO Haryana
You will require the following documents in the HR RTO, whether you are registering a new vehicle or transferring ownership:

Vehicle Registration in Haryana RTO: Step-by-Step Process to Get Your RC
- Get temporary registration from the dealer (valid for one month).
- Go to your local RTO (Eg., HR-26 for Gurugram).
- Submit documents:
- Form 20, 21, 22
- Address proof, PAN/Form 60
- Insurance, invoice, temp RC, PUC

How to Renew RC (Registration Certificate) in Haryana RTO

How to Pay Haryana Road Tax
- Go to haryanatransport.gov.in
- Click on 'Online Services' → 'Vehicle-Related Services.'
- You must select Haryana (for the State) and select your RTO office
- Enter the vehicle number and the last five digits of the chassis number
- You'll see your pending road tax
- Pay with UPI / Net Banking / Debit Card

Penalty for Non-Payment of Haryana Road Tax
If you do not pay road tax in Haryana on time you could incur the following:
- Penalty: 0.5% per day on the due tax
- Interest: 1.5% per month on the total tax + penalty
- RC-related services blocked: Renewal, ownership transfer, fitness certificate, etc.

How to Terminate Hypothecation in RTO Haryana
If your car loan is fully paid off, follow the below steps to remove hypothecation from your RC:
- Fill out Form 35 and get it signed by the bank
- Collect NOC from the bank
- Carry Original RC, PUC, Insurance, Aadhaar
- Go to RTO or apply via the Parivahan portal.
- Pay applicable fees.
- Get your RC updated without hypothecation.

Step 3: Click on "Search Challan" CarInfo will search the official traffic police database for your pending Haryana E-Challans immediately.
