E Challan Dharani – Check & Pay Traffic Fines Online
The city of Dharani is continually expanding with increasing trends of urbanization and motorization, and the roadways within the metropolitan area have never been busier. From our jam-packed market roads, to the newly constructed expressway corridors, levels of vehicle movement have increased to unprecedented levels in key areas such as Civic Center, Ratu Road, Airport Bypass, and Station Chowk. Moreover, in light of sustained growth of traffic, adherence to road discipline has become essential to safety as well as effective traffic management.
As a next step to our ongoing battle with traffic violations, the Dharani Traffic Police are rolling out their fully integrated digital traffic enforcement program, in collaboration with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways e-Challan Initiative. Using real-time monitoring of traffic violations, through state of the art CCTV monitoring and auto detection technology, our system records traffic offences, be it jumping a red-light at Ratu Roundabout, or riding without a helmet in front of Main Bazaar, relating the violation a digitized register and linking it electronically immediately to your vehicle details.
The e challan Dharani service allows citizens to check traffic violations online, submitted for electronic payment, and record their challan status in events where the citizen created a record of violations committed while parked or by a slow moving vehicle. Citizens can pay their outstanding penalty from their smartphone, home computer, or other devices online. This system is also integrated with the Parivahan Sewa portal, as well as third-party links with sources like CarInfo.
