What Happens If You Don't Pay Your Goa Traffic Challan?
If you do not pay your Goa challan on time, it can really land you in a lot of legal trouble and financial headache. According to rules and regulations relating to traffic in Goa, if you do not pay your challan within 60 days of it being issued:

The Goa traffic police will visit your registered address

You may incur further penalties or late payment penalties.

The court can issue a summons in your name.

How to Pay Goa Traffic Fines Offline
If you don't want to pay your Goa traffic challan online, you can pay it offline:
Pay at the Nearest Traffic Police Station
- You can visit any Goa Traffic Police Station.
- Provide either your vehicle number or challan number.
- Pay the amount in cash or card and collect the receipt.
Pay directly to Traffic Police Officer on the Spot
- If you are caught breaking traffic rules, the police officers may have e-challan POS Machines.
- You can pay the fine on the spot using a debit/credit card, UPI, or in cash, and get a receipt.

How to Dispute a Wrong E Challan Goa
If you think you've received a wrong e challan Goa, follow these steps to raise a complaint:
Go to the Parivahan Grievance Portal
Access the official website - https://parivahan.gov.in - and find the “Grievance” tab in the e-challan services.
Organize your evidence to support your dispute. You could include:
• Dashcam footage
• Parking slips
• Toll receipts or GPS location history
• Images or documents showing your vehicle was elsewhere
Complete a Dispute Form
Put the correct vehicle registration number, challan number, and upload all files. In the explanation area of the form, specify the details of your dispute.
Wait for Verification
Your complaint will be forwarded to be verified by the Goa RTO or traffic department. Once verified, the wrongful challan could be cancelled or amended.
Go to the Traffic Police Headquarters (if required)
In the event that you receive no communication in a few working days or if the matter is urgent, you may go to the nearest traffic police office, or the Traffic. Make sure you bring the originals and photocopies of all the relevant documents, such as your vehicle RC, driving licence and the e-challan notice.
Appear at the virtual court or at the physical court (if needed)
