E Challan Sikkim: Check & Pay Traffic Challan with Ease
It's great fun driving on the curvy and scenic roads of Sikkim from the busy MG Marg in Gangtok to the always congested Deorali and Ranipool crossings, to Zero Point, Namchi, or Pelling. With both tourism and local traffic on the rise, the Sikkim Traffic Police have set up digital surveillance so that roads become safer.
In today's technology driven world, what was previously addressed with man power is now routinely captured with CCTV video, ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) technology and e challan systems, which has the ability to track violations including overspeeding, signal jumping and unlawful parking. For the residents of Gangtok, as well as the visitors who traverse the hills, rest assured that e challan technology in Sikkim provides fair and transparent fines that are easy to verify and pay.
By learning how to manage your challans, either online or offline , you avoid paying fines that do not need to be paid, but also do not obstruct the safer and smoother traffic flow of vehicular traffic for everyone travelling along the iconic roads of our state.

Offline Payment Method
Some people don't like online payments and that's perfectly fine. You can still use the offline method:
- Go to your nearest Traffic Police office or RTO in Gangtok, Namchi, Mangan, etc.
- You just need to give your challan number, or your vehicle registration number
- Then, pay in cash, card, or UPI.
- Then ask for a stamped receipt from the officer (this is your proof of payment).
