Whenever you purchase a new vehicle or transfer a vehicle from another state in Karnataka, you must pay road tax. Here's how you can do it:

Online Method (Karnataka Transport Department):

  1. Go to the official Karnataka Transport Department website
  2. Find the "Online Services" section on the homepage
  3. Put in your vehicle registration number and select the RTO office that relates to your vehicle
  4. Select the "Tax Payment (Online)" option from the list of services
  5. Select the vehicle registered RTO again for tracking
  6. Press "Proceed"
