Documents Required for Vehicle Registration in Kerala

How to Register a Vehicle in Kerala RTO

Whether you've bought a new car, two-wheeler, or other vehicle, here's how to do vehicle registration in the RTO Kerala:

  • Get Temporary Registration. Generally done by the dealer, it is valid for up to 30 days.
  • Visit Local RTO Office: Go to the RTO corresponding to your address (for example, KL-07 for Ernakulam).
  • Submit Documents: Carry all required documents mentioned above.
  • Pay Road Tax: Tax varies depending on the cost and type of vehicle.
